Product Objective:

The objective of the "Smart Care Companion" product is to provide elderly individuals with the support they need to live full and independent lives, while also providing peace of mind and support for their caretakers.

Primary & Secondary Users:

Primary Users: The primary users of the "Smart Care Companion" product would be elderly individuals who require support and assistance in their daily lives. These individuals may have physical or cognitive challenges that make it difficult for them to manage their health and safety on their own.

Secondary Users: The secondary users of this product would be the caregivers of the elderly individuals, such as family members or professional caretakers. These individuals are responsible for providing support and assistance to the elderly individuals and would benefit from a technology solution that helps them better manage the health and safety of the elderly individuals in their care.

Creating Archetypes:

  1. The Independent Elderly Individual: This archetype represents elderly individuals who are still very active and want to maintain their independence for as long as possible. They may use the product for peace of mind, to ensure their safety, and to manage their health more effectively.
  2. The Cautious Caregiver: This archetype represents the caregivers of elderly individuals who are concerned about their loved ones' health and safety. They may use the product to have a better understanding of their elderly loved ones' routines and habits, and to have peace of mind that they are safe and well taken care of.
  3. The Tech-Savvy Elderly Individual: This archetype represents elderly individuals who are comfortable with technology and are interested in using it to improve their daily lives. They may use the product to manage their health, stay connected with family and friends, and maintain their independence.
  4. The Busy Caregiver: This archetype represents the caregivers of elderly individuals who have busy schedules and are looking for a more convenient and efficient way to manage their loved ones' health and safety. They may use the product to simplify their caregiving tasks and to ensure that their loved ones are safe and well taken care of, even when they are not around.

These archetypes would help us to better understand the needs and motivations of our users, and to design a product that meets their specific needs and expectations.

Empathy Maps:

Empathy maps for the product to better understand the needs, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of our primary and secondary users. This would involve creating separate empathy maps for each of the archetypes we created earlier.
